About Maharishi Bhrigu
In ancient India
the sage Shri Bhrigu ji who was called a Maharishi reflected upon human
affairs to guide future generations of mankind on a path of
righteousness (Dharma) and bliss (Moksha). The sage Maharishi Bhrigu who
was the eldest Manas Putra of lord Brahma had deep and profound insight
in to the past, present and future of our collective as well as
individual existence with the help of divine powers (Bramh Vidya).
Maharishi Bhrigu ji decided to compose one such granth which when
followed by man would enable them know their past ,present and future
and the journey of the particular soul from one birth to another. The
various Karmas that the soul would do and the results there of and the
specific remedies to be done so as to neutralize the ups and downs
accordingly.
During the invasions of mughals in India, the
whole Brahmin Community became dispersed all over India in the 12th and
13th centuries. The invaders captured all the prime assets of the
Brahmins. The granth witnessed history of India. The granth was valued
by some secular rulers who thereby enabled life to the granth.
Originally it was written on BHOJ PATRA(Barks of trees).
They were later copied into papers by the help of various Sanskrit
Scholers who credited this help which we are able to avail today. Though
the materials of the papers is very delicate and the ink is dimmed,
some horoscopes are still written on tree barks, on the whole are
fragile and difficult to handle. The preservation of the granth is the
most difficult task. It is not possible for everybody to find his or her
horoscope in the pool as the whole granth in quantity is in tonnes. It
takes a period of time to get it matched and later predicted in reading
to the person concerned.
